Activating Quote Agent and Configuring Permissions

  • The Conga Quote Agent is created from the agent script.
  • Salesforce administrator permissions are available.

Before you enable an agent in a permission set, you commit and activate the agent. You do not see the agent on record pages until a permission set grants access to it. To grant access, you or your customer create a permission set and add the agent to it. Then, add the users who need access to the permission set.

  1. Click Conga Quote Agent to open the agent on the Agentforce Builder page.
  2. Click Commit Version to commit the current version.

Commit Version is at the top right of the Agentforce Builder page.

  3. Click Activate to activate the agent.
  4. Navigate to the Setup page and search for permission sets in the Quick Find box.
  5. Open the Conga Max Permission Set (AF) permission set, then open the Agent Access tab.

Agent Access is in the Apps section.

  6. In the Agent Access section, click Edit, add Conga Quote Agent to the Enabled Agents section, and click Save.

The Conga Quote Agent is activated and visible on the record pages for users assigned the Conga Max Permission Set (AF) permission set.

Create the admin entries that define the agent's data payloads. See Creating Admin Entries for Agentforce.
