Suppressing Task Creation
As you process more quotes, a high volume of tasks created in the system may consume excessive space in your org. You can suppress tasks (activity history) creation in Approvals by adding a new admin property.
To suppress task creation
- Select the Admin tab, or select the green plus-sign icon (
) and select Admin.
- Click New Admin.
- Enter the name
APTS_SuppressTaskCreation, enterTrueorFalsein the Value field, and click Save.
The app's default behavior is to create tasks when the value is blank or set to False. When this value is set to True, task creation is disabled.
