Cloning an Agreement
Cloning agreements are a simple and effective way to create look-alike agreements with similar fields in both new and cloned agreements; however, cloned agreements can have different information. The cloned contracts inherit fields from the original contracts.
To clone an agreement
- Go to the Agreements tab and select an existing agreement record.
- Click the Clone button on top of the page and review the information it presents. Click Continue.
- Click Save. The agreement record is cloned. The agreement is assigned a name as per the configurations in APTS_AgreementName_Default and APTS_AgreementName_Clone admin entries.
Note:
When you clone an agreement, the notes of the parent agreement are copied to the new agreement.
