New Features

The following features are new to CPQ in this release.

Price Management Integration for CPQ

SPO API Callout Support for Dimensions and Overrides: Administrators can now configure the Smart Price Optimization API request payload to send Dimensions and Overrides as either shared or batch item arrays, supporting both quote-level and line item-level fields. Use the following API to get the current configuration details: /apt/config-management/v1/configuration/{category}/{name}

In the Value field, ensure that each entry should define LineItemFieldName, SPOMRequestFieldName, and SPOMResponseFieldName. You can also include IsSharedField and IsOverride to explicitly control whether the field is shared or used for overriding cart values.

If a field is common at the cart or quote level, define it as a shared field. If a field varies at the line-item level, define it as a batch item field. When IsSharedField is set to false, the field is treated as a batch item field by default.

If you want a field to override the current cart values, set IsOverride to true.

To update the configuration, call the PUT API (/apt/config-management/v1/configuration/{category}/{name})

Use the updated configuration payload in the request to save the required changes.

Error Handling for SPOM API Response Delays and Exceptions

The system now displays clear error messages for longer wait times or exceptions in SPOM API responses, including base messages for pricing method errors and detailed error IDs for evaluation API failures. HTTP errors such as too many requests, bad requests, and internal service errors are also surfaced with appropriate messages, halting further callouts to prevent cascading issues.

Runtime Pricing Integration Between Advantage CPQ and Price Management

Sales representatives can view all item prices in the cart, including List Price, Base Price, and other out-of-the-box pricing fields, when Price Management is enabled for the flow. The system calculates bundle rollups, totals, and applies manual discounts, while displaying custom fields sourced from Price Management. Price updates reflect changes to quantity, term, manual discounts, product additions, and reconfigurations in real time.

Price Management Integration for System Flows

Administrators can enable integration between Advantage CPQ and Conga Price Management for any defined system flow, configuring which line item fields are sent and received. The configuration supports standard and custom fields, including List Price, Base Price Override, Contract Price, Floor Price, Target Price, and Expert Price, with support for number, currency, percentage, boolean, text, and picklist data types. Administrators must explicitly map fields such as Floor Price, Target Price, and Expert Price in the SPOMFieldMap setting to receive these values from Conga Price Management responses.

For more information, see Update a configuration API in Conga Developer Portal and Price Optimization Overview.

Quote, Cart Management, Service Configuration, and LookupField API Updates

The following enhancements are introduced in this release.

Quote Status Ribbon Update on Revise Cart

The Quote status ribbon now updates to "Draft" immediately after clicking the Revise Cart button, accurately reflecting the cart's reopened state without requiring a page refresh.

Mass update support for line items with open collaboration requests

You can use Mass Update on line items with an open Collaboration Request (CR). Previously, Mass Update was disabled for line items with an active CR, forcing individual updates. Now, you can apply bulk changes regardless of CR status, saving time when managing large carts.
Note: Changes made via Mass Update on the parent cart do not automatically cascade to the child cart linked to the open CR. If the child cart merges back into the parent, its values take precedence.

For more information, see Quote Collaboration Process Flow.

Configure Service Page Loading Reliability

The Configure Service page now consistently loads after page refresh, preserving user context and resolving previous blank page issues in both new and existing user interfaces. This update addresses intermittent loading failures, supporting stable access for all users.

LookupField API: Search Restriction to Display Fields

The LookupField API now restricts search to display fields only to get more accurate and relevant results when performing lookups. Previously, the API searches across all fields in a record returning unintended or incorrect matches. To enable this feature, you must activate the cpq-109073-enable-lookup-search-on-display-fields feature flag.

For more information, see Revenue Administration APIs in Conga Developer Portal.

Enhanced Quote-to-Contract Workflow

Conga CPQ now delivers end-to-end improvements to the quote-to-contract process — from selective line item syncing and large cart support, to real-time job status feedback and approval state preservation.

Selective line items for Create and Update Contract: Sales reps can now choose exactly which cart line items to include when creating or updating a contract from a quote. A modal presents all cart line items with search, export, and multi-select capabilities. Only selected items are written as Agreement Line Items. A confirmation message with a direct link to the contract is shown on completion. Supported for carts in New, Saved, or Finalized status.

Large cart support (up to 10,000 line items): Agreements can now be created or updated from quotes containing up to 10,000 line items — with the option to sync all or a selected subset.

Approval status retention during cart cloning: The EnableQuoteToContractCopyCart feature flag preserves the approved status of a source cart during Quote-to-Contract cloning, preventing redundant approval cycles and supporting agreement creation for finalized carts. Managed via the Update a Configuration API.

AgreementLineItem cart references for order amendments: DerivedFrom references are now stored on AgreementLineItem records during Proposal-to-Agreement conversion, linking each line item to its originating cart entry. This enables inflight order amendments for Agreement-based orders.

Real-time Agreement Line Item creation status: After contract creation, the system polls job status and displays toast notifications on completion — with distinct messages for success or failure. Create and Update actions are locked for the same contract during processing to prevent conflicts. API error messages are surfaced on failure, with a fallback if none are returned.

For more information, see Conga Developer Portal, Updating a Contract.

Embedded CPQ Web UI Integration for Salesforce Quote Page

You can now access the CPQ Web UI directly embedded within the Salesforce Quote page by clicking Configure Products, replacing the previous Angular UI invocation. This enhancement delivers a seamless, end-to-end quoting experience from catalog discovery and bundle configuration to pricing calculations and cart finalization powered by the Conga Platform entirely within Salesforce Lightning mode.

Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication is handled automatically upon launch, eliminating the need to maintain a separate session or re-enter credentials. In addition, real-time synchronization ensures that the latest quote data is loaded each time you initiate the quoting flow.

You can search products, filter by categories, compare products, configure complex multi-level bundles, apply adjustments, and recalculate prices with instant repricing feedback. When you finish or exit your quoting session via Finalize, Save, Abandon, Close, or the top Back arrow you are automatically returned to your originating Salesforce Quote record in Lightning mode. The embedded interface is optimized for full-screen layout across various browser zoom levels, and administrators can dynamically show or hide specific interface components such as Details, Activity History, Documents, Next Steps, Field Change History, Kebab Menu, and the Quote stage chevron) using Display Action and configuration settings.

Account and Contact Synchronization Modes for Dynamics 365 Integration

You can synchronize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Account and Contact records with Conga CPQ using configurable Periodic (scheduled) and Real-Time (event-driven) modes, extending synchronization beyond the standard punchout trigger. This enhancement includes the following capabilities for configuring and managing Account and Contact synchronization between Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Conga CPQ:

  • Configurable Sync Modes & Controls: You can configure sync modes (Off, Periodic, or Real-time) independently for Account and Contact entities. You can pause and resume sync operations at any time without disabling or redeploying recipes. All configuration updates are logged with user and timestamp details for audit tracking.
  • Scheduled (Periodic) Sync: You can set up scheduled syncs to run at a defined frequency (e.g., daily). Sync runs incrementally by fetching only records created or modified since the last successful sync run, ensuring data freshness while running Account and Contact syncs concurrently without performance degradation.
  • Real-Time Event-Driven Sync: You can synchronize Accounts and Contacts in near real-time via Dataverse webhooks or plugin triggers whenever records are created or updated in Dynamics 365.
  • Dynamic Field Mapping: You can map standard and custom fields between Dynamics 365 and Conga directly through the Integration Hub configuration layer without redeploying recipes. You can define transformations (direct, lookup, or formula). If a mapped field is missing from either system, the sync logs a warning in the run log rather than failing the process.
  • Eligibility Criteria Filtering: You can define criteria to filter which Dynamics 365 Accounts and Contacts sync to Conga using field-level operators (equals, not equals, contains, is empty, is not empty) combined with AND/OR logic. Updates to criteria take effect on the next sync run without recipe redeployment.

Considerations and Limitations:

  • Contact Association: Contacts must be associated with a valid parent Account (parentcustomerid) to sync; orphaned contacts are skipped. Contact sync criteria supports the AND + AND + AND logical combination.
  • Unsupported Filter Operators: Nested filter conditions (parentheses) and the In List operator are not supported.
  • Data Type Validation: Operator compatibility against field data types is not validated upfront; ensure configured filter values conform to Dataverse formats (such as picklist and Boolean values) to avoid runtime errors.

Embedded Quote Dashboard for Dynamics 365 Opportunity Form

You can view and inspect complete Conga quote details directly within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Opportunity form using the new embedded Quote Dashboard. This feature brings real-time deal visibility into your CRM workflow without requiring you to switch applications or log in separately.

You can access the embedded Quote Dashboard seamlessly through single sign-on (SSO), which automatically authenticates you using your active Dynamics 365 credentials via Azure AD (Entra ID) without separate Conga login prompts. At the top of the dashboard, you can review high-level summary metric cards for the active primary quote at a glance—including the primary quote value, one-time charge count, and recurring charge count.

Within the dashboard, you can view all quotes associated with the current opportunity, inspect essential details such as quote stage, approval status, price list, and grand total, or select any quote to open and manage it in embedded mode. You can also drill down into the primary quote's products and line items to review line numbers, product names, line types, quantities, and net prices formatted in the quote's native currency.

Additionally, you can monitor the entire approval workflow in real time—tracking individual step names, approval statuses, dates, and assigned approvers. You can also view associated contracts, open contract records directly within the layout, and use built-in search, filtering, and back-navigation controls to quickly find information and return to the main Opportunity form.

For more information, see Create Conga Quotes in Dynamics 365.

Automatic Association and Visibility of Price Programs from Agreements to Quotes

The Price Programs related list on the Quote detail page displays both directly and indirectly associated price programs. Indirectly associated programs are identified by a Via Contract badge and source contract number, and are read-only to prevent modification or removal. The listing count includes both types, while row-level actions and inline editing are disabled for indirectly associated programs. Bulk actions remain available only for directly associated programs, supporting accurate management of price program associations.

For more information, see Associating a Price Program.

Price Program Admin and Cart UI Usability Updates

Price Program and Rebate management now provide a more consistent and streamlined configuration experience across the Admin UI and Cart UI. Administrators and Sales Representatives can manage Price Programs directly from the Cart, while CX Studio configuration controls the visibility of the Fetch Rebate Programs option across supported Cart, Quote, and Agreement flows. The Admin UI now provides valid-value dropdowns for Metric Value Source, Rate Table columns, and dimension values, with cart-specific filtering based on line items. Administrators can also clone Rate Table rows, including tier structures, for faster configuration.

The Price Program summary now displays Rate Table details for Buy X Get X configurations and shows Program Type instead of the internal Application Method. The Enable Date Range field has been removed from Price Program and Rebate configurations for a consistent experience. Price Program Scope & Criteria now supports SUM aggregation for qualifying cart lines, including correct rolled-up Net Price evaluation for bundle and option scenarios. Rebate APIs also support aggregation configuration for tiered Rate Table benefits, with resolved rates remaining visible in the price waterfall.

Additional API and UI enhancements include cloning rebate programs with complete multi-condition scopes, mutual exclusivity between All Products/All Ad-hoc Group and individual selections, and localization of Price Program and Rebate Program wizard titles through en-us resource bundles or CX Studio. These updates reduce configuration effort, improve selection accuracy, and provide clearer and more flexible Price Program and Rebate management.

For more information, see Object Layouts, Defining Benefits for a Rebate, Defining Benefits, Price Program, Rebate Programs, Create incentive rules API, and Update incentives API.

Conga Quote Dashboard for CRM Opportunities

Sales representatives can now access the Conga Quote Dashboard from the CRM Opportunity page to view live quote-related information from the Conga Platform. To access the Quote section, navigate to CPQ Reports > Opportunity Dashboard > Quote. The dashboard provides summary metrics and details for quotes, products, approvals, and contracts, with navigation between related opportunity, quote, and contract records. This enhancement provides sales representatives with real-time visibility into opportunity-related quotes and contracts directly within the CRM.

For more information, see Reports and Dashboards.

CPQ Cart Service API Enhancements

This release introduces key API enhancements across the Conga CPQ Cart Service to improve system performance, data validation, and integration flexibility. The Migration API now supports repeated executions without requiring database cleanup, allowing snapshot recreation by purging only existing snapshot data. In addition, users can migrate finalized carts and specific cart versions by passing the designated Cart ID, ensuring stability and performance in high-volume migration scenarios. The business-objects/activate API now supports the activation and versioning of finalized carts without prior migration, eliminating migration prerequisites and preventing errors during version-enabled cart cloning.

To enhance data retrieval and consistency, the Metadata API now includes pagination support for group data, enabling efficient querying of large datasets in manageable pages. The Revalidate action is now supported on migrated carts, allowing users to validate and resolve master data discrepancies—such as inactive or missing Product Line Items (PLIs)—against the latest catalog definitions, minimizing manual troubleshooting.

Collaboration workflows are expanded with automatic callback execution triggered upon the creation or deletion of Collaboration Requests, facilitating real-time event handling and custom downstream automations. Furthermore, the On Collaboration Request Async Callback enables automated handling and resolution of validation errors associated with zero Net Price line items without triggering unwanted pricing recalculations.

Cart import and export now support administrator-configured templates. Sales representatives can select flow-specific or standard templates from a picklist, ensuring exported files include only the fields defined in the selected template.

For more information, see Conga Developer Portal.

CPQ Configuration Service Enhancements

  • Constraint Rule Product Group Action Filtering: Constraint rules filter product group actions to include only products available in the offering, improving rule accuracy. The system returns errors and warnings for options, sub-bundles, option groups, and attributes in lazy-loaded bundles, consistent with non-lazy load behavior.
  • API Support for Publisher Bundle Input Validation: The Publisher APIs now validates publisher bundle inputs, including options, sub-bundles, option groups, and attributes, and returns errors or warnings for invalid data. This validation applies to both lazy-loaded and non-lazy-loaded flows, improving data accuracy before configuration processing./api/config/v1/publishFor more information, see Conga Developer Portal.
  • Constraint Rule Validation for Cloned Bundles During Cart Finalization: Cart finalization now evaluates all Check on Finalization (COF) constraint rules for applicable bundles, including multiple identical bundles with pending configurations. Administrators can configure the validation behavior through a feature flag to either display all applicable line validation errors or stop finalization when configurations are pending.
  • Finalization with Warning Validation via Callback: Cart finalization now proceeds when a callback returns only warning validations, even when the configuration is pending. Error validations must still be resolved before the cart can be finalized. Administrators can configure this finalization behavior through a feature flag.
  • Cart Cloning Without Price Recalculation: Cloning a cart now supports the option to set price = false, creating a cloned cart with all original cart data and without triggering pricing recalculation. You can update the cloned cart and existing cart cloning workflows remain unaffected. For more information, see Clone a Cart API in Conga Developer Portal.
  • Rollup Calculation Consistency for Line Item Fields: The system now consistently updates rollup values for custom line item fields across all products in a product group when items are added individually. Each line item now reflects the correct aggregated quantity regardless of the order or method of addition.

Service CPQ: Associate Service with Equipment using API

You can now configure and sell Services for existing Equipment assets using the below listed API. This enhancement enables sales representatives to select existing Equipment assets and associate Services to them, streamlining the service attachment process within a single transaction.

The following capabilities are available with this release:? Associate Services with existing Equipment assets: Select one or more existing Equipment assets and associate any number of Services to them. Asset eligibility rules are triggered automatically to validate the selected assets.

? Modify Equipment selection during the Relate flow: Add or remove Equipment assets linked to a Service before finalizing the transaction. The system automatically maintains the asset-service relationship after every update.

? Mixed association in a single transaction: Associate Services with both existing Equipment assets and new products within the same transaction, allowing you to add new products to the cart while selling a Service alongside existing Equipment assets.

Upon Service asset creation, the system automatically establishes a relationship between Equipment assets and Services using the Related Asset Line Item object, enabling accurate tracking and management of asset-service relationships.

Multi-Condition Scope and Ad-hoc Group Support for Rebates

Rebate now supports multi-condition scopes with Product and Ad-hoc Group conditions across all four application methods. Administrators can define AND/OR logic between conditions in the Admin UI, while the Incentive Conditions APIs support creating, validating, and persisting these configurations. The Rebate and Runtime APIs evaluate the defined condition expressions and return per-line-item eligibility results when rebates are applied to quotes.

The runtime experience also displays estimated rebate impacts for eligible cart line items, including single and tiered rate structures. Existing single-condition rebate configurations and behavior remain supported.

For more information, see Defining Scope for a Rebate in CPQ for Administrators and Incentive Conditions APis in Conga Developer Portal.

Digital Sales Room and External User (Contact) Onboarding

Following are the enhancement for Digital Sales Room and for onboarding an external user while sharing quotes.

Digital Sales Room Channel Type

Administrators can filter and organize storefronts using the new Digital Sales Room channel type to streamline sales collaboration workflows.

For more information, see Digital Sales Room (DSR).

Improved Quote Sharing for Login-Based Authentication

When sharing a Quote with Buyer using the "Access with Login" authentication type, the system automatically detects if the recipient is a Contact without platform access and creates an external user account before sending the share email. The share email provides the Buyer with their username, organization name, Sales User's name, a direct Quote link, and instructions for one-time password login. If account creation fails, a clear error message is displayed and the share does not proceed; existing accounts are recognized to prevent duplicates.

This update also enables selection of multiple contacts as recipients for a single Digital Sales Room (DSR) Quote share, with each recipient receiving a personalized email and access provisioned as needed. The recipient selection field only displays contacts associated with the Quote's Account, and clear error messages are shown if no contacts are available or if the DSR storefront is not configured.

For more information, see Share Quote with Buyer and Partner.

Redirecting External User Buyers to the Correct Login Page for Shared Quotes

External User Buyers accessing a shared Quote via "Access with Login" are now routed to the dedicated External User login page, ensuring accurate authentication and direct access to the intended Quote. After successful login, Buyers are taken directly to their shared Quote and can only view the specific Quote they were invited to, with clear messaging for expired sessions or revoked access. Buyer can make the required modifications and use the Accept button to submit the changes.

Storefront URL Configuration for Digital Sales Room

Administrators can configure a Storefront URL for Storefronts with the Channel Type set to Digital Sales Room. The configuration displays the Storefront Path in the format <URL><Storefront Name><Tenant / Org ID> and provides a preview of the generated Digital Sales Room URL.

For more information, see Creating Storefront Settings and Editing Storefront Setting.

API Support for Sharing Quotes with Buyers

The CPQ API enables sharing finalized quotes with up to 10 buyer contacts via {{POST /api/quote/v1/quotes/{quoteId}/share-with-buyer}}.

Sharing a quote creates a collaboration request for each contact, generates or updates the associated internal/external user record as needed, and sends an email notification containing an external user authentication link.

Access & Permissions

  • Sharing is restricted to quotes in Generated or Presented status.
  • The API enforces account-matching between the quote and the contact.
  • Each contact is assigned a permission group — FullEdit, RestrictedEdit, or AcceptReject — based on the specified access type.
  • Access changes apply only to the current quote.
  • Buyer (contact) users can access only quotes and proposals associated with their own account; access to other accounts or unrelated quote objects is restricted in both the UI and API.

Re-sharing & Updates

  • If the same quote is shared multiple times with the same contacts, additional collaboration requests are created, with the latest request used for each user.
  • Collaboration requests are updated upon quote acceptance.

Feature Flags: The following feature flags must be enabled on the tenant to validate that the contact user has access to the data:

  • platform-user-management-contact-scope
  • enable-contact-user-operations
  • enable-external-rbac-creation

Miscellaneous Enhancements: Mass Price Ramps, Asset Status Validation, and Advanced Search Support

Mass Price Ramps feature is now supported for ABO Renewal and Change operations and when you add products from the Installed Products page. This functionality applies to both standalone ramp products and bundle or option products, enabling flexible management of asset pricing scenarios. For more information, see Asset Change Operation and Asset Renewal.

The status of each asset during cart finalization is validated. If any asset in the cart is cancelled or inactive, an error message displays the asset ID or name and its status, preventing order activation with invalid assets.

All Asset Line Item fields are now available in the Advance Search on the Installed Products page. The IsIndexField validation is removed, allowing access to all fields for search and filtering.

Pricing Runtime UI/UX Enhancements for Cart and Agreement Configuration

Rebate and Price Program management now provides a more consistent experience across Cart, Quote, and Agreement workflows. Rebate listings in the Cart open in a popup within the same window, preserving the current Cart context and improving navigation. The Price Programs count on the Quote detail page now includes both direct and indirect associations and updates when contract numbers change.

Administrators and contract managers can also control Rebate Program and Price Program availability by agreement type using the Enable Rebate Programs and Enable Price Programs settings in ContractTypeProperties. The agreement UI and APIs apply these settings for both seeded and custom agreement types, providing more granular program configuration without affecting existing agreements.

For more information, see Associating a Rebate Program and Associating a Price Program.

Cart Import and Export API Enhancements

The cart import and export features across the UI and APIs are enhanced for more flexible and controlled cart management.

  • Cart Line Item Upsert & Hierarchy Support: Update existing cart lines and add new ones in a single CSV import by matching on the line item Id. The import process supports bundle and option structures (using PrimaryTxnLineNumber and TxnParentBundleNumber), miscellaneous charge lines (such as taxes or fees) without requiring a product code, and round-trip workflows where an exported CSV can be directly imported. Imports support up to 5,000 data rows (max file size 100 MB) and provide row-specific validation error messaging.Note: The PATCH import endpoint is deprecated; use the enhanced POST /api/cart/v{version}/carts/{cartId}/import endpoint for all import operations.
  • Flow-Specific Import and Export Templates: Administrators can create, sequence, and manage tailored import/export templates per flow in Flow Settings ? Cart Page ? Column Settings ? Import & Export Cart Lines or via the Flow API ({{/flows/{flowname}/templates}}). In the cart UI, sales representatives automatically receive the template mapped to their active flow or can select and download configured templates from a picklist, ensuring only relevant fields are exposed.
  • Enhanced Cart UI Experience: The cart UI displays progress indicators during file import, surfaces row-level errors for troubleshooting, and automatically refreshes to display updated and newly added line items upon completion.

For more information, see Conga Developer Portal, Importing Cart Lines from Worksheet, Templates for Importing and Exporting Cart Lines.

Promotion Intelligence Skill for Conga MCP Server

The Conga Agent Framework now provides AI-powered assistance for promotion and quote management. The Promotion Intelligence skill provides real-time guidance on eligible promotions, including promotion recommendations, savings summaries, upsell scenarios, auto-applied incentives, and expiring promotions, while operating in read-only mode.

The Quote Agent also supports updating asset quantities directly from the quote record using natural language. It identifies matching assets, prompts for selection when multiple matches exist, and provides clear feedback when an asset cannot be found or the requested quantity is already set.

Revenue Admin UI Pricing and Rebate Configuration Updates

This release consolidates targeted updates to the CPQ Revenue Admin UI, focusing on pricing, rebate, and quoting configuration. The Add Charge Type action for Price List Items now initializes all fields with default values, including setting the EnableRampCreation field to false, rather than cloning attributes from existing Price List Items. This prevents validation errors and avoids unintended inheritance of ramp-related settings when creating new charge types for products with existing ramp-enabled Price List Items.

The rebate listing interface is standardized to always open as a popup within the same window when accessed from the Cart, removing the previous full-page and new-tab navigation options. This change provides a consistent user experience and resolves navigation issues related to the back button and breadcrumbs.

The ProductOptionPrices API enforces that when IsPriceIncludedInBundle is set to true, AdjustmentType is automatically set to Price Override and AdjustmentAmount to 0. Attempts to assign a different adjustment type or amount result in an error, maintaining data integrity for administrators.

/api/revenue-admin/v1/product-option-prices

For more information, see Conga Developer Portal.

Wildcard support is now available for numeric and string dimension fields in Price Rules, Waterfall Rules, and Matrices. Admins can leave these fields empty to define wildcard (catch-all) conditions, which are serialized as * in backend API requests. The UI provides header tooltips, wildcard indicator icons, and success messages to communicate wildcard usage and status. Wildcard support does not apply to Boolean, Identifier, or Date Time dimensions, which require exact values.

Dynamic Header and Layout Enhancements for Deal Guidance Pop-up

The Deal Guidance pop-up on the Cart now displays dynamic column headers, replacing static titles with contextually accurate labels such as %<Measure> From, %<Measure> To, and the relevant price field names, including Net Price From and Net Price To. The pop-up adapts header precision based on adjustment type or custom measure, removes unnecessary sections, and optimizes layout to prevent value wrapping and unnecessary scrolling. These updates provide Sales Representatives with clearer pricing boundaries and improved readability when reviewing deal guidance.

For more information, See Deal Guidance.

Cart Page Usability and Quote Clone Enhancements

The cart page and quote cloning features are enhanced with improved user experience and flexible API controls:

  • Redesigned Action Bar & Line Numbering: The cart page features a cleaner, better-spaced action bar for mass actions (such as mass update, clone, and collaboration). In addition, line item numbers are now displayed in the # column for easier reference and accessibility.
  • Enhanced Ad-Hoc Group Management: The ad-hoc grouping interface offers improved usability with clearly visible Cancel and Move To actions, a dedicated delete icon for selected groups, and the ability to create new groups and move line items directly from the group selector side panel.
  • Explicit Cart Selection for Quote Cloning: The Clone Quote API now accepts an optional Cart ID parameter ({{/quotes/{id}

/clone/cartId}}), allowing users and developers to explicitly select which cart to clone with a quote.

  • Configurable Cart Status Validation: When the AllowQuoteCloneForAllCarts setting is disabled (false), administrators can configure which cart statuses are eligible for quote cloning (defaulting to Saved, Finalized, Pending Approval, Ready for Finalize, and Approval Required). This ensures that only carts in valid states are cloned, returning an error for ineligible statuses.

For more information, see Overview of the Cart Page, Managing Ad-Hoc Groups in the Cart, and Conga Developer Portal.

Configuration Page Usability and Layout Updates

The bundle configuration experience now provides improved layouts and easier access to pricing and selected-item details. The Price Summary and Itemized Options sections display in a compact summary view and can be expanded into a scrollable side panel that updates as configuration changes are made. Administrators can enable the redesigned configuration experience through the applicable feature flag. The updated experience supports both Angular and React UIs.

Administrators can also select the New Standard Page layout for bundle products, providing a vertical arrangement of bundle groups. Option groups and attribute groups can use a vertical, expandable layout with validation indicators, search navigation, and support for hidden groups. Existing horizontal layouts remain available for bundles that do not use the vertical view.

For more information, see Creating a Product.

Conga CPQ Embedded Experience for Salesforce

Conga CPQ provides a fully embedded experience within Salesforce, enabling management of the entire quote lifecycle directly from Opportunity and Account records. The Conga Web UI, including Quote List, Assets, and Orders pages, is integrated into Salesforce Lightning page layouts, allowing users to view and interact with quotes, product lines, pricing summaries, approval statuses, and related dashboards without leaving Salesforce.

The embedded CPQ Web UI supports catalog browsing, product search, configuration flows, cart operations, pricing calculations, and quote service operations directly within the Salesforce Opportunity. All configuration options, attributes, constraints, and pricing adjustments are accessible in the embedded view, with seamless navigation and optimized layout for Salesforce Lightning. Users can create quotes directly from the Opportunity page using the Create Quote button, which validates required fields and displays errors inline if necessary. Exiting the embedded view navigates to the Quote Details page, while the back arrow returns to the Opportunities page. Each configure action from the Opportunity page creates a new quote.

All quote and quote lifecycle activities are managed on the Conga Platform, with no data synchronization required for quotes, carts, orders, or assets. Synchronization to the Opportunity record occurs only when the cart is finalized or when the Sync to Opportunity action is triggered. The Manual Sync Cart with Opportunity API enables synchronization of primary line items from a quote to its associated opportunity, transferring key line-item details and supporting revised carts. Syncing is restricted for abandoned or superseded carts, and if multiple primary quotes exist, the first created is synced. Manual synchronization is also available via the Sync to Opportunity action on the Quote detail page when the quote is marked as primary and linked to an opportunity. Any subsequent reconfiguration and cart finalization will update the opportunity upon re-invoking the action.

Automatic synchronization is supported when the Auto Sync With Opportunity setting is enabled. Finalizing the shopping cart for a primary quote with a linked opportunity automatically syncs the line items to the opportunity, including updates from subsequent cart finalizations. This process operates independently of the CRM and supports callback extensions for advanced scenarios.

The embedded experience optimizes authentication and session initialization for faster access, using token caching and parallel processing to minimize latency. Cached tokens are securely scoped and automatically invalidated upon session end or logout, with seamless re-authentication if needed.

For more information, see Configuring Conga CPQ Embedded Experience in Salesforce, Creating and Configuring Quotes in Salesforce Opportunity, Manually Syncing Quotes with Opportunities, and Conga Developer Portal.

Centralized Email Notification Delivery via Email Worker

This update introduces a centralized, reusable Email Worker service to manage email notifications for key events related to quotes, carts, orders, and document reviews. The Email Worker standardizes the delivery process by exposing a consistent internal API contract that accepts an eventType and entity context, resolves the appropriate email template, and returns a structured response. All existing inline email logic within domain services is deprecated and routed through this worker, consolidating ownership and improving traceability.

The Email Worker supports the following API-triggered events: cart checkout (POST /cart/v1/carts/{cartId}/order), order confirmation (POST /order/v1/orders/{orderId}/confirm), order status updates (PATCH /order/v1/orders/{orderId}), quote acceptance (POST /quote/v1/quotes/{quoteId}/accept), quote rejection and generation (PATCH /quote/v1/quotes/{quoteId}), and document review initiation (POST /review/v1/Normal/start). For each event, the worker sends the appropriate notification, including relevant identifiers and context, while maintaining the existing end-user email experience.

The Email Worker enforces required field validation, returning 4xx errors for missing or invalid data, and provides robust error handling with 5xx responses and detailed logging in case of downstream failures. All email activity is logged with event type, entity ID, recipients, status, and timestamp, supporting audit and traceability. Security is enforced by requiring valid authentication for all requests, with unauthorized attempts resulting in 401/403 errors and no email delivery.

Summary-Level Deal Guidance for Quotes

The Pricing API now supports summary-level Deal Guidance for quotes, allowing administrators to configure guidance rules and measures for quote summary lines. Both out-of-the-box and custom measures are supported, with color bands and guidance calculated from the cart's Grand Total. Guidance values recalculate when the cart changes and synchronize with the quote to provide up-to-date pricing guidance.

When guidance is available, a Deal Guidance icon appears next to the Grand Total in the Cart header. Selecting the icon opens a pop-up with the guidance band, color, measure values, and rule details. The pop-up supports Discount Amount in addition to existing measures such as % Discount, % Margin, and Custom, and displays boundary labels based on the configured band direction and measure.

The Cart also removes the redundant Total summary line when the applicable global pricing setting is enabled, displaying only the Grand Total without changing pricing calculations or frequency-based totals. These enhancements provide clearer quote-level guidance and make pricing information easier to review across the supported Cart and quote experience.

For more information, see Deal Guidance.

Smart Price Optimization Integration Enhancements

Following are the enhancements in CPQ for Smart Price Optimization:

SPOM Price Recommendation Opt-In SettingAdministrators can now enable the SPOM (PROS) Price Recommendation feature using a flow-based custom setting, allowing display of Floor Price, Expert Price, and Target Price for each line item in the cart. This feature is opt-in, requires additional licensing, and is OFF by default.

Default Target Price Application for All Line ItemsAdministrators can enable the Default Target Price on all Line Items custom setting to automatically apply the target price as an adjustment to all line items in the cart during pricing flows. This feature is controlled at the flow level and allows users to remove the adjustment or apply other adjustments as needed. The configuration property EnableTargetPriceApplicationByDefault manages this behavior.

Quick-Apply Price Recommendations IntegrationSales Representatives can now apply floor, expert, or target price recommendations directly to one or multiple line items from the cart. The system applies the selected recommendation as a gross-level price override and provides visual confirmation for each updated line item, supporting both single-item and bulk update workflows.

Approval Rules Based on Price RecommendationsAdministrators can now configure approval entry criteria that compare Net Price against Floor Price, Expert Price, or Target Price recommendations, enabling automatic routing of line items and carts for approval when pricing falls outside defined thresholds. The feature supports standard comparison operators and allows combining multiple price recommendation fields to create complex approval rules. This update leverages the existing Approvals Search Filter functionality to enhance pricing governance in approval workflows.

For more information, see Approval Rules Based on Price Recommendations.

Updated Price Recommendation ApplicationPrice recommendations such as Target Price now use Price Override (Bundle Only) in the background. To apply a recommendation across all line items, salesrep must select all relevant items (bundle and options ) in the cart before applying the adjustment.

Deal Guidance Rules Using Price RecommendationsAdministrators can configure Deal Guidance rules using out-of-the-box and custom measures that calculate the variance between Net Price and recommended Floor, Ceiling, or Target prices. The system provides real-time visual indicators to salesrep on the cart line item during quoting, helping them make pricing decisions that align with business objectives.

For more information, see Cart in Grid View and SPOM-Based Pricing Guidance in Deal Guidance.

Enhancements to Revenue Administration, Data Management, and Quoting APIs

You can use several administrative and performance enhancements across Conga CPQ, Revenue Admin, DataManager, and Quoting services:

  • Automated Organization Restoration: You can use the Restore Org API in DataManager to automate tenant recovery. It manages the full restoration workflow—including tenant offboarding/re-onboarding, updating missing custom fields, resynchronizing entities, and regenerating bundle configurations—tracked through a single job task with automatic retry handling for version conflicts.
  • Organization Resizing with Index Consolidation: You can resize your organization from Large to Medium/Small or Medium to Small. The system consolidates OpenSearch indices and migrates data in the background without manual intervention or service disruption, ensuring all search and query APIs continue running seamlessly.
  • CloneSpec Management APIs: You can create, retrieve, update, and delete object cloning configurations in the Admin service using standard CRUD endpoints (/api/revenue-admin/v1/clone-spec). These APIs support structured payloads for OverrideFields and ChildObjectsToClone, and are certified for objects including Product, Option Group, Constraint Rule, Price List Item, Incentive, Waterfall Chart, and Proposal. see Understanding CloneSpec.
  • Generic Deep Cloning: You can perform deep cloning of records and their child objects across supported entities by passing the deepClone=true flag to the generic clone API endpoint, eliminating the need for object-specific clone endpoints.
  • Dynamic Template Expressions in CloneSpec: You can use dynamic template expressions (for example, version incrementing or current timestamps) within CloneSpec override fields to automatically evaluate and update record values during deep cloning.
  • Real-Time Upsert for Opportunity, Account, and Contact Records: You can perform real-time inserts and updates of Salesforce Opportunity, Account, and Contact records into Advantage Platform using the /opportunities/upsert and /api/config-management/v1/configurations/cpq/UpsertOpportunitySettings endpoints matching on External ID (Id).
  • Cart Cloning Without Repricing: You can bypass re-pricing and re-configuration during Quote and Agreement cart cloning by passing price = false. This copies line items, configurations, adjustments, usage tiers, and price breakdowns directly from the source cart as-is, significantly reducing processing overhead.

For more information, see Understanding CloneSpec, Conga Developer Portal, and Quote API Documentation.

Enhancements to CPQ User Interface, Cart Management, and Product Configuration

The CPQ user interface introduces several catalog page enhancements across the Catalog, Cart, Configuration, and Collaboration workflows:

  • Catalog Page Usability & Rich Text Rendering: You can browse products using a dense two-column Compact View, perform bulk quantity updates on selected items, view live cart status badges, and navigate with a streamlined header. Administrators can define default catalog views across the organization while preserving individual user preferences. Additionally, HTML tags (<br>, <b>, line breaks) now render properly in LongString custom fields in both list and product summary views when IsRichTextField is enabled.
  • Immediate Cart Updates for Adhoc Groups: You can view updated line item values and pricing on the cart grid immediately after saving changes in the Adhoc Group Management screen, eliminating the need to manually refresh the page.
  • Reprice as Primary Action in Summary View: You can reprice cart adjustments directly from the Summary View, where the Reprice button automatically promotes to the primary action after adjustment edits.
  • Custom Save Action Redirection: You can pass the ignoreerrors=true parameter on custom cart save actions to execute your oncartvalidation callback, bypass validation errors, and redirect directly to your specified page (such as Quote Details).
  • Attribute Visibility and Character Limit Controls: You can configure attribute visibility independently per attribute group, allowing an attribute to remain hidden in one group while staying visible in another. You can also view maximum character limits via a hover tooltip on the ? icon. For text area attributes, you can store up to 5,000 characters (extended from 2,000) using the EnableExtendedAttributeLengthLimit setting via /api/config-management/v1/configurations/cpq/featuresettings.
  • Standard Page Layout Sub-bundle Support: You can view the wrench configuration icon next to SubBundles and access nested Attribute option groups when using the new Standard Page Layout.
  • Precise Collaboration Search: You can find collaborators and queues faster when assigning collaboration requests, with searches strictly filtered by Name and Email for users and Name for user groups.
  • Consistent Currency Formatting: You can view currency codes or symbols uniformly across all CPQ pages based on your organization’s currency format configuration.

For more information, see Product Search in the Catalog, Overview of the Cart Page, Pricing a Product on the Shopping Cart, Configuring Cart Page Settings, Creating an Attribute, Associating an Attribute to an Attribute Group, Assigning the Collaboration Request, Field Schema Settings, and Conga Developer Portal.

Enhancements to CPQ Cart Service, Versioning Logic, and Processing Performance

The following enhancements are introduced to cart versioning, line item error handling, asynchronous data migration, and high-volume cart processing performance in Conga CPQ Cart Service:

  • Accurate Cart Version Sequencing: You can maintain a reliable and continuous version history when revising older carts or launching cart creation. The system now evaluates carts in Superseded and Abandoned status based on Activation Date when calculating subsequent version numbers, eliminating version gaps and conflicts.
  • Cloned Cart Version Initialization: You can clone carts with cart versioning enabled and have the new cart initialize at version 1 rather than inheriting the source cart's version number. Version assignment automatically skips if DisableCartVersioning is enabled on the target object, if BusinessObjectType is missing, or if the EnableCartVersioning feature flag is turned off.
  • Approval State Reset on Cart Reconfiguration: You can reconfigure finalized carts and have the newly generated cart start cleanly with a New status, resetting prior approval states rather than carrying forward inherited finalization or approval statuses.
  • Enhanced Line Item Error Messages: You can view clearer and more precise error messages on cart line items. The system skips null or empty fields and evaluates identifiers in sequence (Product Name, Product ID, Line Name, Line ID), while automatically clearing validation errors once the underlying issue is resolved.
  • Asynchronous Migrate API Response: You can use the Migrate API with updated response handling, as the API now returns a 202 Accepted status code to accurately reflect that migration requests are accepted and processing asynchronously in the background.
  • Cursor-Based Pagination for Large Cart Operations: You can retrieve and process large carts (5,000+ line items) faster from the Object Database (TiDB). Cursor-based pagination streams line items sequentially without total-count query overhead, reducing database load across Get Cart Items, Checkout to Order, and Abandon Cart operations.
  • Ad Hoc Group Preservation in Cloned Carts: You can clone carts with pricing bypassed (Price = False) and have all associated Ad Hoc Groups duplicated and remapped to the new cart, preserving structure without requiring manual recreation.
  • High-Volume Logging and Memory Optimizations: You can experience faster cart operations and improved platform stability due to optimized logging in high-frequency pricing loops, per-organization dependency injection, and enhanced worker snapshot logging with Trace IDs and timestamps.

For more information, see Conga Developer Portal, DisplayActionCallback Class, Cart Checkout to Order API, and Cart Clone API.

Self-Registering Settings Framework for Admin UI

The new self-registering settings framework enables feature settings to automatically appear in the Admin UI when registered, without requiring any UI code changes. This eliminates the manual process of updating the Admin UI each time a new feature setting is introduced, ensuring the feature settings interface is always up to date.

Settings are validated at registration time for required fields (Setting Name, Data Type, Default Value, Group Name, Control Level, Description), and default values are automatically applied to new tenants at provisioning. Settings no longer needed can be deactivated and hidden from the Admin UI while being retained for audit purposes. A clear validation error is returned identifying the missing fields, while duplicate setting names (same machine-readable key) are rejected at registration time with an error.

IntroducedInRelease is for any new feature setting. For upgrades, the framework supports two actions: DeprecatedInRelease (makes a setting inactive and hidden for all customers) and OverrideInRelease (automatically overrides the setting value for all customers).

/api/revenue-admin/v1/feature-settings

For more information, see Conga Developer Hub and Feature Settings.

CPQ Admin Usability Enhancements

This release introduces the following updates to the CPQ Admin UI.

Administrators can configure the Is Rich Text Field property for String attributes directly within the Attribute Create and Edit screens. This property is available only when the Data Type is set to String, defaults to false for existing attributes, and is displayed accurately during attribute editing. The option remains hidden for other data types, supporting consistent attribute management. See Creating an Attribute.

Additionally, the product publish process now includes improved timeout handling and user notifications. The application waits up to 15 seconds for a synchronous product publish operation to complete. If it takes longer, an appropriate message is displayed. For a long-running publish operation, the user is not blocked instead receives clear feedback on status of the operation.

CPQ Web UI Enhancements for Order Navigation, Quote Support, and Currency Display

This release introduces the following enhancements:

  • Organization Currency Display Format Support Across CPQ Pages: All CPQ pages now display currency values according to the organization’s configured CurrencyDisplayFormat setting, showing either the currency code or symbol as specified. For more information, see Organization Management.
  • Quick Quote Support for Large Carts: Quick Quote now supports importing up to 10,000 unique products in a single quote, addressing previous limitations and resolving errors related to URI length when processing large product lists. This update enables bulk creation of large quotes without interruption.
  • Order Link Navigation Based on Environment in CPQ Web UI: While working in CPQ Classic UI, when you create an Order, the link takes you to the Order details page in Classic UI. Similarly when you create an Order in Modern UI, the the link takes you to the Order details page in Modern UI.

Activity History Logging and API for Quotes in CPQ

The Activity History feature provides a comprehensive logging and viewing solution for Quote records in the Web UI, enabling administrators and sales users to track all user and system actions throughout the quote lifecycle. The Activity panel displays a chronological timeline of activities such as creation, updates, approvals, stage transitions, document actions, deletions, and comments, with event messages, timestamps, user attribution, and action categories. Advanced filtering by activity type, action, and date range, search functionality, expandable time-based grouping, and infinite scroll are supported. Activities performed by all organization users are visible, and export options to CSV and Excel formats are available. Clear status messages display when no activity is logged for a quote.

A dedicated Activity history API for Quote records is available, capturing all relevant actions and system user details. Each activity record includes the activity name, action category, action type, user, timestamps, associated object ID, and descriptive comments. Administrators activate this feature by enabling the LogActivityHistory feature setting (disabled by default) via the Configuration Management API. Custom activities are dynamically registered without code changes using the Configuration Management API by creating or updating a configuration entry under the RevenueActivityHistoryConfig category with the name RegisterActivities.

This solution leverages a generic, extensible schema and API, supporting future expansion to other CPQ entities and integrating with existing telemetry and audit infrastructure. Pagination or lazy loading is supported for large activity volumes, and the design allows for reuse across additional entities such as constraint rules, promotions, and rebates.

POST/PUT: /api/config-management/v1/configurations

For more information, see Conga Developer Portal and Viewing the Activity History of a Quote.

Restrict Adding Favorites to Locked Carts

Expand the Favorites feature to support ramp lines, rebates, and additional related information. This update enables users to mark ramp lines and rebate configurations as favorites, facilitating quicker access and management within the system. The enhancement provides a more comprehensive Favorites experience by including these new data types.

You cannot add products from Favorites to a cart that is locked by another user. When you attempt to add favorite items to a cart locked by someone else, Conga CPQ returns an error message through the Catalog API to prevent unauthorized modifications and preserve cart data integrity. Only the user who locked the cart can add favorite products to it.

For more information, see Cart APIs in the Conga Developer Portal.

Pricing Runtime and Cart Calculation Enhancements

The Pricing Runtime Engine now applies Price Matrices before Price Escalators in Turbo Pricing, aligning the calculation sequence with Classic Pricing and improving price ramp calculations. Updating a bundle ramp start date to an earlier date also updates the associated option ramp dates to maintain alignment.

The Pricing API provides clearer error messages when Adjustment Type or Adjustment Amount is missing for line items or summary lines. Wildcard support is also available for discrete dimensions in Price Rule Entry, Price Matrix, and Waterfall Rule Entry, allowing a wildcard value to match all possible values for supported dimensions. For more information, see Pricing APIs in Conga Developer Portal.

Deal Guidance calculations for UnitPricepoint now correctly calculate Measure From and Measure To values based on quantity. Digital product pricing also recalculates the base price and net unit price when the billing frequency changes, ensuring accurate pricing for different billing cycles.

Percentage-based discounts can now be applied directly to the base price after matrices, rules, promotions, and product option price adjustments. The discount supports bundle pricing, rounding, and adjustment spread settings. In addition, approval processing now supports bundle-level roll-up lines when the configured criteria are met, with the approval status and actions available directly in the Cart.

For more information, see Creating Price Ramps on the Cart Page and Overview of the Cart Page.

Platform Pricing and Cart Grid Enhancements

This release provides out-of-the-box enhancements to Platform Pricing and the Cart Grid in response to global customer requests. The Selling Term for rollup lines in Turbo Cart now calculates as the difference between the "Start Date" and "End Date", aligning calculation logic with Classic Pricing for consistent recurring product pricing across both Turbo and Classic carts.

The system supports the creation of Price Ramps and Mass Price Ramps for bundles containing options with mixed price types. Line items with a "One-time" price type are excluded from ramp calculations without generating errors or warnings, allowing ramps to be applied to eligible recurring items within the bundle.

Administrators can configure the Display Custom Totals on Cart setting in Config System Properties to display totals for specified custom fields in the Cart Grid and Summary Totals section. When custom field names are configured, the Cart displays only the custom totals instead of the standard out-of-the-box totals. Administrators can manage this configuration through the Config Management APIs. For additional API references, see Retrieve custom settings associated with a flow and Update custom settings associated with a flow.

Administrators can now configure the display precision for cart line item currency fields at three levels: global settings, Price List Item (PLI) level using the "All Currency Fields Precision" field, and individual field level through Display Column Properties. The system applies PLI-level precision first, then field-level, and defaults to two decimal places if neither is configured. These settings affect only the Cart Grid display and do not impact pricing calculations or other modules. The Cart UI validates numeric precision values, and Field Precision is available only for Currency data type fields in Cart Line Items. For more information, see Creating Price Ramps on the Cart Page, Creating Mass Price Ramp, and Product Pricing.

Service CPQ – Asset Product Pricing Methods and Editable Allocation Fields

The Service CPQ module supports both Rollup and Allocate pricing methods for service products associated with asset and equipment products. The pricing engine calculates service product prices using a dimension-based Price Matrix—supporting combinations such as Quantity, Product, and Option on Asset Line Items—or defaults to the List Price when no matrix is available. For the Allocate method, the system distributes the service product net price across related asset line items and updates cart pricing details accordingly. For the Rollup method, the system aggregates pricing for new sale service products linked to equipment products, ensuring accurate service base price determination and validation of allocation totals. Multi-currency and attribute-based pricing scenarios are supported.

Administrators can configure which fields—such as Weightage Amount, Weightage Type, Weightage Percentage, and Weighted Net Price—are editable in the Related Line Item pop-up via toggles in the Admin UI under Global Settings ? Flow Settings ? Cart Page ? Column Settings. Field data types, including picklists, are configurable to maintain data accuracy. Sales representatives can update these fields during quote configuration, and the system recalculates pricing and related fields in real time. Validation logic prevents saving records if allocation totals do not match the service product’s net price.

Price Dimension creation supports the Related Line Item Attribute, Asset Attribute, and Product Attribute context types, with the Business Object set to Attribute and consistent population of Attribute Group and Attribute fields across the platform. The pricing engine resolves these price matrices during runtime API execution for both New Sale and Asset flows, supporting both Rollup and Allocate methods. DataManager and percolator fields are updated to retrieve and organize Price Matrix data for both Related Line Item and Asset Line Item contexts.

For more information, see Configuring Cart Settings, Editing a Flow.

Approvals Usability and Configuration Enhancements

The following enhancements improve traceability, control, and flexibility across Approval Center and Approvals workflows.

  • Approval Custom Configs: Header Link and Clickable Display FieldsApprovers can now quickly access related records directly from the Header section on the Preview & Submit and My Approvals pages. You can configure a record header link that appears above the request title on these pages. To support this functionality, the following new fields have been added to Custom Config Settings:
    • Header Link Field: Lets you select a field from the context object on which the Approval Flow is configured. The selected field appears as a clickable link above the record name.
    • Object Details Link Path: Specifies the relative URL for the custom object based on the custom configuration settings. The system uses this path to construct the complete navigation URL at runtime.
  • Based on these settings, lookup-type fields configured as Display Header Fields or Display Fields now appear as clickable links in the Approval Details view. Additionally, hovering over user account fields displays the corresponding user account details inline. For more information, see Creating an Approval Custom Configuration and Creating a Rule-Based Approval Flow.
  • Approval History: Display Record Names with Direct LinksApproval History now displays the Object Name and Child Object Name, such as Clause, Line Item, or Quote, with a direct link to the corresponding record for each approval request. Selecting the record name opens the related record details page, enabling users to quickly access and review approval context. This feature depends on the Object Details Link Path setting in Approvals Custom Config, which the administrator configures for both parent and child objects. For more information, see View Approval History.
  • Approval Center: Approve and Reject Comments FunctionalityYou can now provide comments when you approve or reject single or multiple approval requests from the Approval Center for all supported objects. The comment field is required only if your administrator configures approval or rejection comments as mandatory. For more information, see Approval Center.
  • Control Visibility of Reassignment Options on Approval PagesThe Administrator can control the visibility of reassignment options on approval pages:
    • On the My Approvals page, the organization can request a configuration to hide the Reassign button from all non-admin users. When enabled, this configuration allows only the Administrator to view and use the Reassign option.
    • On the Approval Center, the Administrator can use the CX Studio Layout Editor to show or hide the Reassign to Me button. This setting applies to all users who use the layout, unless the Administrator configures a user-specific Approval Center layout.
  • Submitter Approval NotificationsSubmitters can now receive email and Microsoft Teams notifications when an approval flow reaches a final Approved or Rejected status. Administrators can enable or disable this capability using the Enable Consolidated Notification on Approvals setting in Custom Configurations, and customize the email content using the Approval Email Template option in Notifications.
  • Support for CPQ Cart VersioningApprovals now supports cart versioning in CPQ. Approval requests are associated with their respective cart versions, allowing users to view and manage approval requests independently for each cart version.
  • Backup and Delegate Screen: Improved Date and Time LabelsThe Backup and Delegate screen now features improved date and time field labels for better clarity and usability. All related warning, success, and error messages now reference the updated labels for clarity. Key label updates include:
    • Effective Date to Effective From
    • Expiration Date to Valid Till
    • Cancellation Date to Cancellation At
  • Consolidated Notification SettingsConsolidated Notification Custom Settings for submitters now support multiple notification types. Administrators can select Email, Chat, or both to configure how submitters receive consolidated approval and rejection notifications. The settings are renamed from Enable Consolidated Notification on Approvals to Consolidated Notification on Approvals and from Enable Consolidated Notification on Rejections to Consolidated Notification on Rejections. For more information, see Creating an Approval Custom Configuration.
  • Consolidated Email Notifications for Parallel and Sequential Approval RequestsThe consolidated email notifications feature now supports both parallel and sequential approval scenarios, sending notifications to all relevant approvers based on step dependencies. Approvers assigned multiple sequential steps can approve or reject all assigned steps in a single email response, provided the steps are consecutive; otherwise, separate notifications are sent for non-consecutive steps. For more information, see Understanding Approval Consolidation.

Slack Integration for Conga Approvals

The following enhancements bring approvals into Slack for faster, in-context approval actions, along with an updated system property reflecting Slack's addition to notification channels.

  • Slack Integration for Conga Approvals: You can now integrate Conga Approvals for Advantage Platform with the Slack application. Approvers receive direct notifications, view approval request details, and respond with approve or reject actions, including comments, directly within Slack. Approvers and requestors access the My Approvals page directly from Slack messages. Requestors also receive Slack notifications when their requests are rejected or auto-reapproved. The integration supports advanced approval workflows, including queues, user groups, ad-hoc approvers, and approval policies such as Majority and Percentage-based policies. Administrators enable this integration for their organization by installing the Conga Approvals app in their Slack workspace and enabling the Slack connector in Conga Platform System Settings. For more information, see Approvals in Slack.
  • Approvals System Property Update: Suppress Queue Emails system property is now Suppress Queue Notifications in the Approvals UI and the Approvals System Properties REST API, on both GET and PUT endpoints. This rename reflects the property's expanded scope: it now suppresses queue-targeted notifications across all supported channels, including email and Microsoft Teams. For more information, see Approval System Properties.

Functional and Technical UI Improvements for Cart and Product Configuration

This release introduces key functional and user interface enhancements across cart handling, product configuration, and attribute administration:

  • Cart Action Availability on Transient Errors: If a cart-level timeout or transient error occurs (Status API HTTP 400 response), you can still access the Finalize and Submit for Approval actions. Finalize remains the primary action unless the cart is routed for approval, where Submit for Approval becomes the primary action.
  • Attribute-Level Progress Indicator: You can see a loading spinner directly beside individual attributes in the Product Configuration UI during rule, dependency, or expression processing. Administrators can enable this by configuring the DisplayAttributeLoadingIcon setting in Config System Properties.
  • Character Length Limit for Attributes: When creating or updating String data type attributes via the Revenue Admin UI or the /api/revenue-admin/v1/attributes API, you can define a character limit using the Length field (up to 2000 characters). You receive an error message if the default value exceeds the specified limit.

For more information, see Working with the Cart Page, Creating an Attribute, and Update Custom Settings Associated with a Flow.

Asset360 Centralized Asset Management and Navigation

The Asset360 landing page has been significantly enhanced to give sales users a richer, more efficient view of their asset portfolio. All assets are now displayed in a hierarchical tree structure, allowing sales users to expand or collapse asset nodes as needed for focused navigation. The page includes aggregate header metrics showing total active assets and accounts at a glance, and a sortable data table that supports customizable views, users can select the columns most relevant to their workflows and save those as a default view.

Navigation from the landing page has also been streamlined. Clicking an asset and product links open their respective detail pages, with a back button available for a seamless return to Asset360. Users can also search across the asset list using Asset Status and Product Name making it easier to locate specific records in large portfolios. See Managing Assets on Modern UI.

Asset Line Item Detail Page: The Asset Line Item Detail page provides a comprehensive view of each asset, organized into collapsible sections: Basic Information, Additional Information, Term, Revenue, Renewals, and Billings. While most fields are read-only to ensure data integrity, users can directly edit a defined set of fields from the UI, including Name, Description, Inactive status, Allowed Action, Renewal Adjustment Type and Amount, Auto Renewal Type, Auto Renew, and all custom fields. Changes can be saved or cancelled, and the page provides navigation links to all related records and lists.

Transaction History: The Asset Transaction History chart has been expanded to provide a view of both asset transaction history and asset transaction history quantity for each asset line item. The chart now includes transactions resulting from all ABO operations. See Viewing Asset Related Details.

Billing Schedules on Asset Line Items: Billing information is now surfaced directly on the Asset Line Item Detail page as a related list in a dedicated tab, eliminating the need to navigate elsewhere to review billing data. The top of the billing table highlights key summary figures, total billing for the asset, total invoiced amount, and pending billing amount, with full billing schedule details presented in a searchable, filterable table below. See Viewing Asset Details and Related Lists on Modern UI.

Quote-to-Asset Navigation: When a quote is accepted and assets are created in the new UI, users can now navigate directly to the Asset Details page in the Asset360 application from the Quote's Related List. Clicking on Assets from the Related List opens the Asset Details page in a new tab, supporting a smooth handoff from the quoting process into asset management. This release introduces several updates to Assets, Asset-Based Operations (ABO), and Annual Contract Value (ACV) management.

The ACV field is now available on line items, summary groups, and quotes, providing visibility into annual contract values across these entities. Enable the EnableSaasMetricsComputation feature setting to calculate ACV at all levels. ACV is calculated at the bundle line, including all option values, and is synchronized from the summary line to the quote after cart finalization. Exclude ACV at specific line or option products using ACV Price rule setup. ACV on the quote is refreshed with every reprice. See Annual Contract Value and Viewing Quote Details..

Change and Renew operations on usage-based assets allow modification of usage tiers and line items directly in the cart. Adjust usage entries, such as tier ranges and unit prices, and persist these changes on asset line items after finalization.

Administrators can use the Disable asset integration toggle on price list items to skip asset creation for specific charge types. When enabled, asset creation is skipped for the selected price list item, but order line items are still created. Use this flag only for secondary charge types to exclude asset creation. See Skip Asset Creation for Price List Items.

The system validates each asset's status during cart finalization and displays an error message if any asset is cancelled, inactive, specifying that the affected asset needs to be removed from the cart. This validation applies to all asset-based operations and supports scenarios with multiple users and saved carts.

The system recalculates the Net Price on rollup lines in the cart when ramp line dates or selling terms are updated, ensuring accurate pricing without requiring additional repricing actions. The system also restricts the use of the Increment and Merge option during quantity changes if the start date is changed, maintaining correct NetUnitPrice calculations. See Asset change operation.

Inactive bundle options are handled automatically during ABO operations. During a Change action, if any option within a bundle has been deactivated, the deactivated option & its subsequent lines will be marked as cancelled on the cart and a warning message is displayed informing that the product is no longer available and has been removed. During a Renew action, deactivated option and its subsequent lines will be marked as cancelled on the cart and its Start Date End Date will be asset start date end date while the remaining bundle configuration is retained with the renewed Start date End date.

To show only primary asset lines on the Installed Products page, set HideAssetSecondaryLines to true using the API: baseurl/api/revenue-admin/v1/flows/system/settings/assets. This hides the expand arrow and prevents access to secondary asset lines and option lines.

Administrators can configure the system to automatically mark inactive, expired, or removed Price List items (PLIs) and options as cancelled with no refund during asset-based operations, preventing errors and displaying a user-friendly message using EnableAutoCancelInactivePLI setting. This is applicable for all types of recurring, usage and one time lines. The cancellation logic covers secondary PLIs, as well as bundle options, ensuring accurate status updates without impacting bundle line net prices. API: ‘api/revenue-admin/v1/flows/system/settings/assets’

ABO change operations now allow setting the end date earlier than the start date without displaying a validation error, allowing cart finalization in such scenarios.

Use the Disable asset integration toggle field on price list items to control asset creation for specific charge types. When this field is enabled, the system skips asset creation for the selected price list item but continues to create order line items. Use this flag only for secondary charge types for excluding asset creation. See Skip Asset Creation for Price List Items.

Administrators and quote owners can associate custom renewal email templates with asset renewal actions, including success and error events for quote creation, update, and acceptance. Assign default or custom templates to each renewal process action to ensure recipients receive the appropriate email content for each event. Templates can be customized using Conga Advantage Platform and made available to sales representatives by specifying the Template ID in the API: {baseUrl}/api/revenue-admin/v1/flows/system/settings/assets

Set the following settings to true as required: SendRenewalQuoteCreateNotification, SendRenewalQuoteUpdateNotification, SendTouchlessRenewalQuoteAcceptNotification, SendRenewalProcessErrorNotification. see Asset Renewal.

Asset Callback feature flags are migrated to CPQ Feature Settings. After upgrading to 202607.2.0, configure the following CPQ Feature Settings using the API PATCH /api/revenue-admin/v1/feature-settings: EnableAssetFilterCallback, EnableAssetRenewalFilterCallback, EnableAssetTerminationCallback. All settings are disabled by default and must be enabled as needed to maintain Asset and Renewal Callback functionality. see Asset Callback Class and Asset Renewal Callback Class.

Asset 360 List View Updates

The Asset 360 list view and account page tree structure display the selection checkbox exclusively for the primary line of a product, restricting selection to the main asset entry and preventing selection of child and secondary lines.

The Asset line item detail page introduces an Asset Attributes related list, presenting columns such as ID, Created Date, Created By, Modified Date, Modified By, Attribute Name, Attribute Value, and Asset Line Item, with both date and time. The grid list view supports default sorting by Created Date in descending order and provides both basic and advanced search capabilities.

A new Related Asset Line Item tab is available on the Asset 360 asset detail page, displaying associations between services and equipment. This tab offers a searchable and filterable list view with columns for ID, Name, Created By, FromLineItem, RelationTypeFrom, RelationTypeTo, ToLineItem, WeightageAmount, WeightagePercent, WeightageType, WeightedNetPrice, and Currency. Asset names are linked to their detail pages for quick navigation.

For more information, see Managing Assets on Modern UI, Viewing Asset Details and Related Lists on Modern UI.

Cart View Management and Access Control

Administrators can now create and manage custom Cart Views directly from the CPQ Admin interface. They can assign views to flows and configure filters, sorting, grouping, and display columns. The configuration supports AdHocGroup fields, validates field selections, requires the Product field as a mandatory column, and enforces unique view names within each flow. Administrators can view, search, sort, create, edit, and delete eligible views from a structured list that displays key view details. Private views cannot be edited or deleted, and bulk deletion is not supported.

Cart Views support Private, Public, and Protected access levels. Administrators can assign views to users or roles, with Protected views requiring at least one assignment. The access control APIs validate user and role assignments and ensure that users see only the views available to them. The UI also supports managing user and role assignments for large datasets.

Each flow supports a single default Cart View. Default selection follows the configured priority for private, protected, public, and system views, with alphabetical order resolving ties. The default view is now named Standard View, remains at the top of the list, and the list updates automatically when the default changes. A default view cannot be deleted unless another view is selected as the default, and the only default view in a flow cannot be deleted.

You can see Cart Views based on their assigned flows and access permissions, while administrators can manage all views associated with a flow. These enhancements provide centralized Cart View configuration and access management while using the platform's existing user and role management capabilities.

For more information, see Creating Views, Cart Views, and Conga Developer Portal.

Catalog Locations, Cart Versioning, and Multi-Tier Collaboration Updates

This release introduces key functional and user interface enhancements across catalog location assignment, cart lifecycle management, and multi-tier collaboration workflows:

  • Account-Level Locations in Catalog: You can associate account-level locations to line items when adding them to the cart from the catalog, regardless of the business object type. When a location is defined on an account linked to any business object, you can assign it to a line item during catalog selection to ensure configuration, pricing, and validations accurately reflect the correct locale or region.
  • Cart Versioning in CPQ UI: You can access, review, and revert to previous cart configurations directly from the CPQ user interface. You can view superseded cart versions in read-only mode and use the Revise cart action to clone an earlier version into a new draft cart. Administrators can enable this feature by activating the EnableCartVersioning setting in application configuration.
  • Unified Field Mapping for Multi-Tier Collaboration: You can configure field transfers for multi-tier collaboration using a single unified data model via the MultiTierCollaborationFields Admin API endpoint. Use MultiTierCollaborationCreateFields to control which fields copy from parent to child carts on create or update, and MultiTierCollaborationMergeFieldsMapping to govern field transfers from child carts back to parent carts upon merge.
  • Multi-Tier Collaboration and Large Bundle Updates: You can view, edit line item fields, modify bundle attributes, and remove line items directly within a multi-tier collaboration cart, including large bundles with pagination support in the Completed Products tab. All rollups, field expressions, attribute expressions, and attribute rules execute and save automatically upon changes. You can also reassign collaboration requests across users, where each collaborator submits changes in reverse order prior to final submission.

For more information, see Catalog and Revenue Admin APIs, Configuring Cart Settings, and Quote Lifecycle Collaboration.

CPQ and MAF Integration Enhancements

This release introduces enhancements to integrate CPQ and MAF on the Advantage Platform, delivering a seamless Quote-to-Cash (QTC) and Revenue Lifecycle Management (RLM) experience. You can now:

  • Custom Billing Plan Management from Proposal Header: You can create, view, and delete custom billing plans directly from the Proposal header. When you create a plan against finalized cart line items, the system automatically links the Custom Plan ID to the corresponding line items and lists the plan under your proposal. Deleting a plan removes the link and updates the proposal's plan list.
  • Product Configuration Creation for Inflight Orders: You can easily amend inflight orders that do not already have an associated configuration. The cart service automatically generates a Product Configuration directly from Order Line Items supporting orders originating from CPQ, CLM, price agreements, or integrated external systems.
  • Accurate Billing Preference Selection: You benefit from improved billing preference resolution on proposals. The system prioritizes the actual Location specified on your proposal and selects preferences only when both Active and Default are true, preventing inactive preferences from interrupting downstream billing operations.

For more information, see Cart APIs in Conga Developer Portal and Auto Populating Billing Preference.

Comparing Quotes Feature

The Compare Quotes feature enables selection and side-by-side comparison of two to five quotes directly from the quote list view in the CPQ Modern UI. Access the Compare Quotes page to review key quote details, pricing, and product configurations, with differences visually highlighted. The compare action is available as a bulk action and activates only when multiple quotes are selected, supporting efficient evaluation for sales teams.

Administrators can configure which fields are displayed by default and available for selection in the Quote details and Products tables on the Compare Quotes page using new field set settings in Global Settings ? Quotes in Classic UI. Define required and optional fields for both the Quote and Line Item objects, with default fields preselected for each table, such as Quote Number and Name for Quote details, and Product and Net Price for Products. This enables precise control over field visibility during quote comparison.

The Product section on the compare quote page displays products in a hierarchy structure, allowing users to clearly view bundle products and their associated options. The hierarchy supports up to 5–7 levels and maintains correct pagination for large product lists.

For more information, see Quotes Comparison Overview, Comparing Quotes, and Configuring Quote Settings.

Using API:

You can compare line items across up to five quotes using the Compare Line Items API. The API displays differences in a pivoted table format, supporting bundles, sub-bundles, options, and ramp lines. Rows with differences between quotes are highlighted, and a dash (–) is shown where a quote does not contain a value for a field. You can control which fields appear in the comparison using the Quote Compare Required Line Item Fields and Quote Compare Optional Line Item Fields field sets. The API supports lazy loading for large data sets and displays currency values with the appropriate currency prefix based on your configuration.

For more information, see Conga Developer Portal.

Post-Sale Service Configuration and Asset Association

This release introduces post-sale service configuration and asset association capabilities on the Advantage Platform. You can now configure and associate eligible service products and service bundles with purchased equipment assets during your post-sale quoting workflows.

  • Define Service Eligibility Rules: You can create and manage service eligibility rules in the Admin UI or via the Admin API using the Apply at Point of Sale (IsPointOfSale) and Apply Post Sale (IsPostSale) toggles, giving you precise control over when your service eligibility rules apply.
  • Browse and Filter Eligible Services: You can browse and select eligible service products and bundles in the Service Catalog for your selected equipment assets. Visibility rules automatically filter out products you should not see, and you can inspect asset details directly from a modal while using search, category navigation, and filters.
  • Configure Eligible Service Bundles: You can configure service bundle options and attributes for your eligible assets. Your bundle selections calculate real-time pricing and enforce inclusion, exclusion, and validation constraint rules across Product, Product Field, Product Group, and Product Family scopes.
  • Manage Equipment Associations in the Cart: You can associate service products with equipment assets and manage updates directly from your cart using the Add/Remove Products action in the related line items modal or via Cart APIs. When you add or remove equipment, the system automatically cascades your changes across all associated option products.

For more information, see Working with the Service Catalog, Configuring Service Products, Associate Service Products to Products in Cart, Configure Constraint Rule Using Advanced Rule Setup, and Conga Developer Portal.

Visual Attribute Display

Product attribute values can now display images in the configurator for Picklist and Multi-Select Picklist attributes, providing a visual way to identify and select values. Administrators can add or remove images through the Catalog and Admin APIs using JPG, PNG, or SVG files up to 2 MB. Images are stored as relative CDN paths and are available in the Product Details and Revenue Admin API responses.

Images display next to attribute values with a consistent 1:1 aspect ratio and follow the configured attribute visibility rules. The configurator supports selecting and deselecting values with images, while responsive thumbnails maintain consistent sizing and provide clear selection indicators. Administrators can upload images after creating an attribute and receive success or failure notifications based on the API response.

For more information, see Creating an Attribute and https://developer.conga.com/.

Constraint Rule Logic for Cancelled Lines in Asset-Based Ordering (ABO)

Constraint rules now apply both inclusion and exclusion logic to asset line items with a status of Cancelled during Asset-Based Ordering (ABO) operations. When a dependent asset is cancelled on the cart, any asset auto-included or auto-excluded by a constraint rule is also removed or cancelled, maintaining accurate asset relationships. This update enables administrators to maintain reliable asset relationships and enforce constraint rule behavior even when assets are cancelled during ABO operations.

For more information, see Manage Constraint Rules.

Conga CPQ now supports related pricing for assets, allowing dependent services such as support and sandbox services to use existing asset pricing without requiring the primary product in the Cart. Administrators can enable this capability through the applicable tenant-level feature flag, which is disabled by default for backward compatibility. When enabled, asset data can be included in related pricing calculations whether or not the asset is present in the Cart.

Administrators can configure the asset fields used for related pricing, such as Asset Price or Asset Net Price, at the Price List Item level through the Admin API. The configuration also supports rules for missing asset data and asset data refresh intervals. Sales users can add support services to the Cart and have their prices calculated automatically using related asset data.

The Pricing API supports mixed pricing scenarios that include both assets and new products, including complex pricing formulas, quantity and term changes, and proration for different term lengths. When both Cart assets and installed product assets are available, Cart assets take precedence, and the pricing response provides a detailed breakdown of the calculated price.

For more information, see Adding Details to a Price List Item, Configure Pricing Settings, and Conga Developer Portal.

Favorites Management from API and Modern UI

List Favorites API: You can view and search a comprehensive list of all favorites saved in the system under the new Favorites section. The list displays key details including Name, Scope, Number of Products, Price List, Owner (using the CreatedBy field), Is Active, and Date Modified, with options to search by Name, Price List, and Owner, and sort by Name, Scope, and Date Created.

View Favorite API: You can retrieve the complete details of a saved favorite using the View Favorite API. The API returns key information such as the favorite name, scope, active status, custom fields, associated price lists, created-by user, creation and modification dates, and the products saved within the favorite. You can also fetch the line items under a favorite separately, with configurable fields for a more tailored response. This API supports the Favorites Management UI, giving you a reliable way to review and verify saved favorites.

Delete Favorites API: You can delete one or multiple inactive favorites using the Delete Favorite Admin API (/api/revenue-admin/v1/favorites). The API supports bulk deletion of up to 1,000 records per request. Only favorites marked as inactive are eligible for deletion. When a favorite is deleted, its associated product configuration and cloned line items are automatically removed without affecting the original source cart or its line items. If any active favorite is included in a bulk delete request, the entire operation fails and no favorites are deleted

For more information, see Revenue Administration APIs in Conga Developer Portal.

You can also view the favorites detail on Modern UI. For more information, see Viewing Favorites on Modern UI.
