53 Cannot Configure Quotes

Error

When you configure a quote, CPQ does not load the Catalog and displays the following error:

only aggregate expressions use field aliasingError is in expression '{!doInitialSearch}' in component <apex:page> in page apttus_config2:selectconfigproductsfilterview: (Apttus_Config2)

Cause

This happens when bad data or bad API name exists in Catalog Page Settings.

What to do

Perform the following steps to resolve the error:

  1. Go toAll Tabs > Config Settings > Catalog Page Settings.
  2. Check all data provided here.
    At least one field here has bad data or bad API name of field (of object).
  3. Resolve the data issue.
