Troubleshooting Common Configuration Mistakes

57 Cannot Configure a Quote

Error

The error duplicate field selected: Apttus_Config2__Quantity__c is displayed in the console when you configure a quote.

Cause

This happens when there are unwanted entries of criteria.

What to do

Solution 1:

Perform the following steps to resolve the error:

  1. Go to Setup > Develop > Custom Settings > Config Constraint Criteria Fields.
  2. Delete the entry of Quantity field.
  3. Go to Setup > Develop > Custom Settings > Config LineItem Criteria Fields
  4. Delete the entry of Quantity field.

Solution 1:

If Solution 1 does not work, perform the following steps to resolve the error:

  1. Go toAll Tabs > CPQ Console > Maintenance Console (under System Management).
  2. Under Query Field Metadata, click Refresh Field Metadata.
