The following features are new to CPQ in this release.
New Enhanced CPQ User Interface (Beta)
The CPQ August 2015 version has a new user interface (UI) designed with the AngularJS framework and leading to a better and faster user experience. The new UI will be supported alongside the previous one and can be turned on with minimal configuration.
Asset Based Ordering
Asset Based Ordering (ABO) simplifies management of your asset lifecycle. The latest version of ABO provides a user-friendly, intuitive interface that allows users to perform multiple asset based actions. With ABO, you can now change the quantity, duration, price, billing rules, and attributes of an existing asset. You can then terminate an asset or swap it with another product.
This version of the product puts the user in charge by allowing them to specify an effective date for any transaction and to change quantities and duration during a swap, thereby maximizing the value of the quote.

Visibility Rules Enhancements
A Callback class has been introduced to control the Product visibility on the Catalog and Bundle page. Apart from using Search Filter (CPQ) and Refine your Search, you can control the visibility of products on the Catalog and Bundle page using the Callback classes. This enhancement is useful when you want to apply a custom logic to hide certain products for a specific customer on the Catalog page. You can add your custom logic in a new Apex class and specify the same class in the Custom Settings > Custom Callback Classes for implementation.

Save Button on Bundle and Cart Page
You can save your configurations on the Catalog page and Bundle page using the new SAVE button. When a saved configuration is re-launched, the status remains SAVED even if the user clears the browser.
Hiding Add to Cart and Configure buttons for Options Products
To avoid your sales representative mistakenly selling the option products without a bundle, you can now hide the Add to Cart and Configure buttons from the Catalog and Bundle pages.
This enhancement is also useful when your customer searches for an option product using the Global search and tries to add it to the cart without buying its associated bundle product. This creates a clear difference between the standalone and option product on the Catalog page.
